I don't think I can make any useful comments--after all, you are much better informed here than I am. But I do find your papers very helpful indeed.

What I find puzzling/disturbing is the way in which many advocates of interest-free banking appear to be impervious to the obviously reasonable (and respectful) observations made by authors such as yourself. I know from experience that these arguments can be heard, apparently acknowledged and then just be completely ignored in the next round of discussion! It is just as if nothing had been said the previous time! As an academic, I  find this really weird.
